Shah Rukh Khan’s fans should wait a little bit longer to catch their favorite star in cinemas as his subsequent mission Pathan will hit the screens subsequent year instead of 2021. Bollywood commerce analyst Taran Adarsh shared the update on the film’s launch on Twitter on Sunday and he wrote: “Breaking News… Pathan – which marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the massive display screen after a hiatus – will launch in 2022… Not 2021.” He added, “SRK collaborates with main manufacturing home YRF after a protracted hole.” After Taran Adarsh shared the update, #Pathan instantly began trending on social media.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathan will be produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Movies. Whereas Shah Rukh will play the titular role, actress Deepika Padukone and John Abraham have reportedly been roped in as his co-stars. Deepika Padukone debuted in Bollywood reverse Shah Rukh Khan in the 2007 movie Om Shanti Om after which they co-starred Pleased New Yr and Chennai Categorical – all three movies had been field office hits.
