She’s just expressing herself.
Madonna slammed Instagram as sexist after the social media app allegedly removed her latest sensual photoshoot without warning because a part of the singer’s nipple was showing.
“I’m reposting images Instagram took down without warning or notification….. The rationale they gave my management that doesn’t handle my account was {that a} small portion of my nipple was uncovered,” Madonna, 63, captioned an Instagram post on Thursday in which she was seen posing on a bed whereas wearing lingerie and fishnet stockings with a pink coronary heart emoji strategically placed over her nipple.
The “Material Lady” artist voiced her disgust for those that sexualize a nipple even though it’s only a vehicle used to feed new life.
“It’s still astounding to me that we dwell in a culture that permits each inch of a girl’s physique to be proven besides a nipple. As if that’s the only a part of a woman’s anatomy that could be sexualized,” she wrote. “The nipple that nourishes the baby!”
She also noted the unfair double standard that exists in society the place males are allowed to point out their chest when women aren’t.
“Can’t a man’s nipple be skilled as erotic ??!! And what about a woman’s ass which isn’t censored wherever,” she wrote.
The rep added that the rules of Instagram apply to everybody and they eliminated Madonna’s publish over the adult nudity. Meta also noted that their rules about nudity have changed over time after receiving feedback from their group in regard to pictures involving breastfeeding, acts of protests, artwork, and educational or health posts.
